I really appreciate two things that John Tyler has put into this book: hard work and humility. It is refreshing to read from an author that seeks to find truth amidst a controversial topic within the church...baptism.

Tyler starts his book with his intent followed by the Biblical examples cited by verse. Then, he looks at the history of the church before and after a group called themselves Baptists. With all of this an appeal is made in support of adult baptism, which is followed by a critique of how baptism is celebrated today with some controversial questions for the church.

Baptism: We've Got It Right and Wrong is written well, packed full of information and easily digested with roughly 150 pages. I recommend this book to Christians that have not been baptized and honestly seek God's glory and pleasure.
