Emil Lengyel (April 26, 1895 - February 1985) was a Hungarian-born figure known for his contributions to literature and academia, particularly regarding World War II and the Nazi regime.

Lengyel spent 20 months in Siberia as a prisoner of war during World War One starting in 1916. Following the war Lengyel went to New York as a correspondent for European newspapers.

Dr. Lengyel was a professor at the School of Education, New York University.
