Chances are those who read this book have read Jack for years. While the book does detail his time at the Voice, News & Post, it lacks the passion of most of his newspaper work. Don't get wrong, this is still an important book from a much more important man.

An honest, pugnacious, opinionated, somewhat stubborn journalist calls 'em like he sees 'em as he makes his way through New York City baseball, politics and boxing. He left us too soon.
