Thanks for stopping by! I loves to weave tales of Alpha Shifters and the woman they love...or is it crave? ; ) I love all things fantasy and paranormal - if you haven't noticed! I am clearly a hopeless romantic too! What a coincidence! When I is not writing I am loving on her pet menagerie of cats and dogs - as well as on her very own Alpha : ) ...Our little gang splits our time between the mountains and the city in the far west... I hope my stories bring a smile, a laugh...as well as some steam to your day. And above all I hope they help you keep the feel of "possibility" alive in your heart...cause all things are possible...at least I like to think so! Enjoy

Dragon Defender

What an enchanting story, filled with characters who have flaws, strengths, pride, and humility. Entertaining plot that kept me riveted to the end. With steam.

I received this book as a gift to read, and now I would like to give my honest opinion of what I read.

I have to say that through the may shifter books that I have read this one is so different. I really liked it though at first I thought I would have me doubts. I didn’t like the thought that Dakota was going to go through with this betrayal and hurt these people who’s job it was, was to protect the innocent. So I did put the book aside for a bit trying to must up what ever it was inside on me to forge on and I am so glad that I did. This is a story of betrayal, and love, vengeance and forgiveness. Things that some of us today struggle with; maybe not so many on this scale; but even so we all struggle with it in some form or structure. This is a wonderful story one that I feel really should be read. I would recommend it to any one and everyone.

Dakota has been struggling over the last two years with her sisters death. She had died in Los Angles in some dark and dirty alley of what was declared an over dose. Dakota felt that if she were in more contact with her maybe she could have stopped it from happening. She worked in a Soup Kitchen to help to feed those in need, thinking that some of the could have been like her sister. That is until she was called by the owner that someone wanted to meet with her outside. There she saw a limousine and inside was a beautiful woman dressed all in white. Told her a dragon shifter by the name of Owen Jackson was the one that killed her sister and that she would help Dakota to get her revenge if she agreed. Want to blame someone for Carly’s death Dakota agreed to the plan.

Moving to where the Stile farm was located they changed Dakota’s name to “Annie Crane”, that she was a ghost writer as a living and was there to work in the peace and quiet. The woman had given her a metal cylinder that was described to her as a GPS device which was further than the truth. There she meets Micheal and the both discover that they are fated Mates. How was she ever going to explain to him her lies, more so after what happens at the Well Spring when the cylinder that she was so sure she left at her home landed in her pocket and the curse was let out. Will he ever forgive her? Will they be able to save the rest of the Fleet? All of these things you will have to read and discover it is well worth the journey.

This is an interesting & captivating dragon shifter romance & I really enjoyed reading it.
It is about: a young woman (Dakota) who is still haunted by her sister’s death (Cally) when she is approached by a female shifter who offers her a chance to discover the truth. She lands up in a strange place & meets a dragon shifter (Michael) whom she becomes involved with,
There is: dragon shifters, various kinds of shifters, mercenaries, Wellsprings, intrigue, suspense, some drama, twists & turns, danger, enemies, villains, memories, rage, fear, anger, manipulations, nightmares, dreams, rites of claiming, grief, doubts, explanations, mates, treachery, confrontation, sabotage, betrayal, trickery, despair, sadness, desire, petitions, defiance, conflict, compliments, happiness, some steam and a satisfying ending.
I found the story-line to be well-thought out and written with intriguing, suspenseful incidents. The characters are quite well-developed and are portrayed with realistic flaws.

Vengeance

Dream mating would make a great reality show if it could be real.

For me Michael is not always a likeable character but he does mature as the story progresses otherwise you just want to smack him around for being arrogant.

Dakota has issues that will lead her to make some really bad choices. Can she get her head on straight to undo the damages?
