This author has once again written a truly interesting & captivating dragon shifter romance.
This book is about: a young woman (Mia) who discovers that her so-called dream job is not such a wonderful dream after all when she comes across a deadly secret while doing research then a handsome man (Jamie) inserts himself into her life and the danger escalates.
What you will find in this book is: dragon shifters, worms (wingless dragons), various kinds of shifters, Wellsprings, intrigue, twists & turns, danger, enemies, violence, harassment, threats, dreams, rites of claiming, sabotage, rage, abduction, fear, law enforcement, research, attempted murder, sadness, approval, contentment,, dumped, betrayal, a remote island, imprisoned, spells, amulet, arguments, rage, conflict, surprises, trust, joy and a little steam.
I found the story-line to be well-thought out and written with entertaining yet at times quite rebellious characters, who continue to grow through the book.

It's Not You, It's Me!
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Dragon Renegade by Leela Ash and Tabitha St. George is Book 5 of the Dragon Dreams series. I really enjoyed this book, but I have to admit that I have been reading this series in no particular order and it has me a little unsettled. There are small spoilers when you do this and I think it has had an effect on my reading enjoyment of the series. My fault, not the books! The series is really good and I have just begun to read the books in order and have to admit that I am enjoying the storyline more. Maya and Jaime's story is sweet and spicy. The chemistry between the characters just leaps off the page and the writing is so good it runs a movie in my mind. I recommend the book, but I highly recommend reading the series in order to get the max enjoyment from the books and characters.

I always enjoy Leela's books and “Dragon Renegade” is no exception. Mia's dream job at “Fangs of Apophis” becomes dangerous when she stumbles onto a deadly secret. Jamie a dragon shifter is working undercover to gain information to destroy the “Fangs of Apophis”, the enemy of all shifters. When Jamie meets Mia he knows that she is his destined mate and he must protect her. “Dragon Renegade” is an action-packed, intriguing, exciting, steamy, nail biting roller-coaster ride. This was a very good addition to the Dragon Dreams series. Each book gets more complex than the one before it, yet can stand alone without any issues. It’s a fast paced afternoon read that holds you hostage until you come to a breathless end, and always ends in a happy ending! I call them my get-away reads, they are a great change of reality for a couple of hours! Thank you very much for the opportunity to review this, I very much enjoyed it!

Dragon Renegade is book five in the series Dragon Dreams by authors Leela Ash & Tabitha St. George. Wow!! Ok this one is a bit darker than any of the previous books in this series. Yet even though all those dark bits - light shines through. Like in life you just have to have the courage to take that leap! So go ahead and jump!!

Book 5 in this series & if you haven't read any of the previous then you might need a little time to understand fully what is happening. Once you do, though, this is a thoroughly enjoyable read. On the one hand, you have Jamie, who battles his dragon & doesn't want a mate, & on the other you have Maya, who doesn't know anything about dragons. This story is a bit involved, but it makes for a very emotional read. Very enjoyable.

Just absolutely captivating! Loved every second I was absorbed in these pages. It was beautifully written and the connection created between Jamie and Maya kept me reading and wanting to know what came next. Action, drama and suspense ... before I knew it the book was finished. If you are looking for a great series, I totally recommend it!!

What a messed up dragon. This is a very different kind of shifter story, still got the rough grit and lots of action even romance but with a dragon that's not quite solid with what being a dragon is.

Exciting
This story is exciting with a whole new type of shifter. I loved the way things come together, get torn apart and then come together again. Great book!
