Hannah love on the family farm with her younger brother and her parents. Hannah's younger brother, Danny was in a serious car accident and her parents are talking about having to sell the family farm to pay for his medical care. Hannah has a coin that has been in her family for hundreds of years. Her grandfather always said to give the coin to a protector of they ever needed any kind of help. Hannah looks on the internet for this "protector" with no luck, but Brandon contacts her after reading her post.
Brandon sees another post and figure it's another thief who wants money.
I liked this one. I really liked the way the Dragon was injured and the human has save his life, it's usually the other way around. It was a good story. Witch-hares are new, I'm not exactly sure what they are, but this is book 1, so maybe there's more about them in another book.
This is a PNR with a dragon, worm, witch-hare, and kindred, maybe something I forgot. Now if your curious about any of those, this book is well written and interesting with some new ideas.

Very amateurish story. No depth to the characters or the story. Nothing that would hold a readers thoughts or intrique them into reading more about this series. For gosh sake the big baddie is a freaking worm people!! Shifters, magic and very sophomoric romance. The lorde of dragons so not alpha or would instill fear in anything but "the worm" ! Hard pass on continued reading of this series!😠👎

Cliched good-old-USA story line, Mom, Pop, and 2 kids on the family farm. So boring, but there were dragons but they were also boring and cliched. The story may suit younger readers, didn't hold my interest. Did I mention - boring?

Thrills, chills and shifters too! I loved this great character driven story. Ancient coin and a mystery too. Classy descriptions of hot romance and hotter sex encounters. Lots of villains to hate and a close family unit to cheer for. I can’t wait for next instalment.

Hannah and Brandon
Hannah lives on a farm outside of New York. Her brother Danny, was injured in a car accident. Her family has lived on the farm for many generations but her parents may have to sell it in order to pay Danny's medical bills.
Hannah has a coin that has a dragon on one side and it is blank on the other. It was passed down from her grandfather who got it from his grandfather. She doesn't know anything about it, do she goes online hoping that it is valuable and can help her family.
Brandon sees the coin and realizes that it is a Blood Coin. A dragon used to offer it to someone who saved their life. It is sort of like an IOU. After some misunderstandings between Hannah and Brandon, he offers her the money she needs and also his undying protection.
Trouble comes in the form of a "fallen" dragon. They are dragons who have torn their wings off and look more like worms. They only live for greed now, not for protecting life.
The story is in the way dragons and former dragons are enemies. I enjoyed this book and look forward to more.
The only drawback is that the story ended at 11%. The rest was filled with previously released books.

I didn't expect much out of this book and was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. It is a short story but fairly comprehensive (Dragon Protector ended at 11% on my Kindle).
Even though there is very little background on the magical parts of this story, what there is, makes for an engrossing read. Hanna is sort of a mystery - she is 23 and still living on the farm with her family and she is treated like a princess and her parents protect her from the hardships of life but not much else is said about her. I would have loved more information on the Witch-Hare, Brandon's Flight, and the Fangs of Apophis.
The magical Wellsprings, dragon protectors, witch-hares, and worms make up a new world build by the authors and I would love to see move of it. Amarie, the Witch-Hare, needs to have more page time. Hanna is pretty fearless and has great integrity. Some of the twists in the story were easy to see but some came out of nowhere to give us more pleasure in the story.
I would love to see this world expanded.

This is a fascinating, entertaining book and I really enjoyed reading it. This book covers a young woman (Hannah) who is trying to financially help her family by selling a rather unusual coin, a bombastic man (Brandon - and unknown to her a dragon shifter) buys the coin and from here the trials & tribulations begin. What you will find in this intriguing book is: dragon shifters, humans, fallen dragons, werewolves, wellsprings, drama, intrigue, mystery, enemies, adventure, action, humor, conflict, threats, abduction, attractions, lust, love and passion. The story-line and plot are well thought out and written and keeps the reader’s attention. The characters are well developed with personalities and moods suited to the situations they find themselves in. There are extra/bonus stories in this book which are just as well-written and entertaining. I would recommend this book

I enjoyed Dragon Protector largely for the action and suspense. The passion scene descriptions were too flowery IMO, but the plot was a bit out of the ordinary and kept my interest throughout. I also liked the magical world the author created, MCs Hannah and Brandon, and the supporting characters, bad guy shifters and all!
I appreciate when an author provides whole sample stories from other series. Much better than a few sample chapters to help the reader decide whether the series is worth reading. This volume contains one whole trilogy and some other volumes starting several shifter series.

This is the first collaboration between these authors and their first book. I must say that they did a superb job keeping me glued to the pages until the end. “Dragon Protector” is an entertaining well-written story with well-developed characters. It has all the elements for a great paranormal read, drama, chemistry, mystery, action, surprises, a handsome dragon shifter, a beautiful woman with hidden powers and of course romance. I loved “Dragon Protector” and hope that it's the beginning of a new series. A definite must read for shifter lovers.

Dragon Protector was a lovely quick dragon-shifter romance. I liked the once again slightly different building of the shifter world by the author. I liked how once again the dragons were portrayed as fierce protectors. So in this respect the story was a good mix of old and new.
An entertaining read. Even though it was a short novel the author managed to draw the characters and their backgrounds pretty well.
I will definitely read other books from Tabitha St. George.

This was a very quick read, took maybe two hours tops. It was DEFINITELY on the cheesy side of things, but with the dragons and conflict it tempered things out enough that it was a nice afternoon getaway. I really liked the take on dragons, I haven't read much from this aspect before and it was a nice change! All in all an entertaining read, thank you for the opportunity to review this work!

This was a totally enjoyable book with a whole new look at Dragons and magic, Blood Debt, and the Kindred. There were many twists and turns, but the excitement and suspense never stopped. With humor and love, family and trust, the entire reading experience was warm and exciting. Don’t miss this one – it’s different and well worth reading!

Hannah and Brandon never would have met if not for the greedy machinations of LeMar. She would still be completely in the dark about her heritage and never would have fallen for her soulmate. I enjoyed Amarie's quirkiness.

It was merely ok. Usually, I always love any books about dragons, especially romance books. But this series is just lackluster, predictable. The characters are not compelling and I didn't get attached to them at all.

I enjoy shifter books and this writer writes dragon sfiter stories. A young woman needs to save her parents farm. she finds a gold coin and takes it to a rich man then dreams of her mate. New favoite writer need to find more books by her.

I liked the storyline very much. It is different than most shifter book, which intrigued me.
