I liked this book as much as the first one but again there was a hook at the end to entice the reader to get another book. I still feel it reminds me of science fiction stories from my childhood days. I don't like the loss of a character, but I understand it is part of writing to have characters come and go. I am looking forward to the next book in the series with anticipation. I did find a few typos in my edition and will forward them to Amazon for review. I'm glad I am reading this series. Warning, it contains some bad words.

Very Original

At first my feelings were that the YA aspect would spoil the book and the series but here, at the end, I find I want to read the next book. There are precedents for everything, space gates, Atlantians and guardian's, but it's how it's put together that makes a story, not exotic names.

David Gemmel would be proud.

Goodbye my heroes may you die well, for to give your life is the ultimate sacrifice.
Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action and adventure.
A real page turner.
I look forward to the next one 😀
