I was all set to give this a chance, because free book, with MERCH! (from the MAGFest "library")
Then I noticed it's a Book 5. :|
Like, some books, it doesn't matter TOO much, like with the Xanth or Baby-Sitters Club books, but this is a little... impenetrable... for a complete newcomer.
I mean, judge for yourself, I don't know, there's a free-ish copy of the "Zero" series (a prequel I assume?) here: https://www.scribd.com/book/524372923...
At least the merch is neat, but I think I'll let the little library have it.
