The underlings are defeated. Time to take down their bosses. With the local enemies contained, the agents set their sights on finally taking on the true threat. Earthly enemies have compromised their government and are launching cyber-attacks on their systems. Oriceran enemies have added new bounties. Cara and Diana are still in the crosshairs. No one is safe, in the city above, or the Kemana below. Even the group honoring the memory of the Silver Griffins is targeted. The Blackops Agents of Magic are ready. They have their own artifact weapons, magic powered fighters, and strength of will. Will it be enough to defeat their enemies? There’s only one way to find out. Magic or mundane, you hurt people in their city, and BAM is gonna bring you down. It’s all in a day’s work at the newest bureau of the Federal Agents of Magic. For a thrilling action-adventure with spells, guns, hand to hand combat, and just the right amount of snark, join the team today!
I’m TR Cameron, science fiction author. I’ve been an avid consumer of the genre since I was six, I think, when I broke the seal on my Dad’s copies of the Asimov Foundation books. It’s been all downhill since then.
I have a day job that I love most days, and writing is pretty much my only consistent hobby. When I find time that’s not already filled with my wife, my daughter, my writing, my work, or dodging the affections of our clowder of cats, you can find me playing video games (currently Dishonored 2 – I’m a little behind the times on this one), watching things (Marvel movies, American Gods, Agents of Shield, Justified, The Expanse, Gotham), playing board games, or, naturally, reading.
My favorite authors in Sci-Fi are David Weber, Jean Johnson, John Scalzi, CJ Cherryh, and the giants: Asimov, Pohl, Bear, Heinlein, etc. I read a lot in other genres too, and am a big fan of Matthew Woodring Stover, Michael Anderle, Jim Butcher, and I could go on and on and on. If I had to choose one favorite, though, it would be Stephen R. Donaldson, whose Thomas Covenant series was transformative for me.
Probably my pie-in-the-sky dream for my writing career is that someone would make a movie or television show of my books and I could be a part of the production. Sure, unlikely, but a clowder-dodger can dream, right? My more practical dream is that I can keep writing and both entertaining and connecting with my readers for years and years to come.

I don't know if this will be the last book in the series but I certainly hope not!!!
With the underlying enemies defeated, now is the time for Diana and her Agents to go after the leaders. And go after them they do! With their computer network comprised by enemies, Diana and her crew have a lot more on their plates than they thought. The all-out war is coming and it's coming FAST and HARD! However, Diana and her Agents are ready...or are they?
Now that Diana has her artifact, a Katana named Fury that she won from and enemy warrior and Cara's powers have increased thanks to her artifact daggers, the time has come to carry the fight forward. This time the enemy infiltrates the Kamana and plans to kill off the Lady! Nylene is involved and to say that all hell breaks loose would be putting it mildly.
This entire series has been a joy to read and the action keeps getting better and better. There is humor galore but not to the extent that it takes away from the seriousness of the plot and story.
All our heroes are involved. Some plots are cleared up and new ones open up. This is why I hope there is another book or three or that the author(s) will carry the heroes forward into a new series. The ending of this book seems to point in that direction so I have my fingers crossed!
There were so many layers to the whole story of ARES, and Agent Diana Sheen, along with the gathering together of her Team.
The character development was really good, and the layered plotting kept me on the edge of my seat - A LOT!
This last book, although it finished off the series beautifully, has definitely left enough hanging in the air, that I hope it means, that there will be more written about Diana and her team.
It really would be a shame to just leave it where it ended here, anyway! Lol
I've really got to enjoy the combined writing of the three authors in these books, but TR Cameron definitely has a style of his own, and I'm loving it.
So much so, that I was as pleased as punch, when I went to look at my Oriceran Reading List, and saw that the next series to read, is by the same authors.
This series is called Scions of Magic, with book one being 'Magic Street Boogie', so, without pause, I'm going to go straight to it, to start reading it!
Once I have done, I'll catch you on the flip side, and let you know what I think of it!
Starting with book 1 - love these characters and the storylines. Wrath the troll is funny and a bad ass. All the female characters have wonderful back stories and I love the friendships and relationships they developed. Just the right amount of romance for me. Please consider writing more adventures for this group. Thanks for the new worlds and people to explore.
I wasn't sure at first, but I'm the type to read the whole series ... book 2 had me hooked! This reads like an action movie. Kudos to the authors for their knowledge of all types of fighting skills, and the talent to describe them in a way that can be visualized. And also to the gamer of the group ... the use of VR is amazing. Highly recommend!!
I've read all of this series and truthfully couldn't put it down! You need to read them in order to follow what is happening. Excellent series, a little long but you can do it! Each character is unique and its very well written to share something about each character together or individually. This is well worth the time to read, I highly recommend it! Good reading!
I just finished the entire series and I wish there was more! Loved the magic, action, and the fabulous characters. Do yourself a favour and get this series! You'll not be disappointed.
A nice conclusion though I’m starting to wonder if I’m growing out of these books. I like more character growth, world building, and story thank just fighting. I’m realized my that most of that happens at the beginning of these series. But hey, I did read 8 so that must mean something right :)
What a great climax to Federal Agents of Magic and a promise of more to come. Of course by now they are already out there. So now I suggest you grab this book and take some time to enjoy getting lost in an exciting and entertaining story.
I am sad to see a great story with very interesting characters come to an end. This last battle was a superb ending to an action packed series. One could only hope and pray for more!
This is an interesting ending for this series and I can’t wait to start the next one. I wonder why it has another name, since it seemed to feature the same cast of characters. It doesn’t matter in the end, if the story keeps being this entertaining.
Another great Ocerian series! Great character development especially another amazing troll! I have read this series twice. Who knows there might be a third or fourth in the future because I can’t get enough of these books. Well done!
Great series. I just finished binging through the entire series nonstop. Good characters, developed nicely. Good story arc. Plenty of action. Some snarky humor. What’s not to like? Recommended.
I have really been enjoying the series. Still a couple of ideas. The story could use more, Swiss family Robinson ideas to trip up the bad guys. Some up front plans, instead of going in blank. Less on the wepons check and recheck the development of new is cool. But like the new vehicle a better explanation of what they can do. Like attacks from front rear above. Where are they going to live, a interdementional pocket very plush? A good line would be to bring out who the weapons are, where they are from, their lives, why they are there. And bring in their commitment to the wearer. Another besides more strategy plans is why is the bad guy so bad. What real threat is he to life as we know it. There you go some idea and questions I would like answered to flush out the story. It's great, you are awesome kicking out these books so fast and they are really good!,
After defeating the Oriceran force sent to subdue Earth and kill the Blackops Agents of Magic (BAM), Diana, Rath and the others agree to take the battle to the Oricerans' backyard. An epic conflict leads to BAM's triumphant return to their own World amid celebrations and congratulations from those in power and all who know what BAM have risked and what horrors Earth is safe from at last.
T.R.Cameron, Michael Anderle and Martha Carr make a great team of their own and this final collaboration is #8 in the Federal Agents of Magic series. Will the BAMs disperse to other organisations now it's been disbanded? Hopefully there will be more of the MCs back stories - and future ones too. Grab your copy of Agents of Vengeance today and be ready to travel to infinity and beyond, with the great story within its pages - it's a real action thriller that's sure to please!
It has taken me over 3 weeks to finish what should have taken a day. Yes I have been busy and tire easily, but even with my condition I will read a book all night and forego sleep. That was not the case here. When I first read it it took me 4 days. Back then it would have been read in a day. There is nothing wrong with it per se. It does seem like they were just ticking off boxes to get the series finished. This is 3 mini-books thrust together. Each time a bad guy is defeated it feels like the end of the story instead of just the end of that day. I had forgotten what I rated it, but figured 4 stars like the rest of the series. Nope 3 stars back then and today as well.
I truly did not think that this series could get any better, but I am very happy to say that I was wrong! (Are my children reading this? 🤔)
Diana and her team are amazing. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the series and can’t wait for the second arc to be written. [yes, I know the poor author needs time to recharge, but I can’t help being impatient!!! 😝]
The action, personal growth, snarky humour, and references to pop culture and fashion choices is a great combination.
I really really enjoyed this book. It was funny, fast-paced, and full of action. There was a little bit more character development and because of that I realize that this had to be the last book of this ark. I could tell there’s a lot more story that needs to be told. Series is very well done and I really will be waiting for the next book. If you haven’t read the series give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
Another excellent adventure with the Federal Agents of Magic. The ONLY thing wrong with it is that this, the eighth in the series is the finale. If by some chance you haven't read the earlier ones then do yourself a favour and go read them, all a five star read IMO.
Diane and company really get deep in the bad in this awesome story. There is so much action, danger, and epic battles I couldn't put it down. You don't want to miss this one.
Every thing you want in a final story. Exciting, thrilling, captivating story with lots of excitement, danger, use of great hacking skills, and a little romance. Finally removing your greatest foes.
I just binged the series. Couldn’t stop reading. Truly awesome. Thank you for all of the strong characters. I can’t wait for the next series. Love to read an entire series without missing a beat. Thank you.
Another amazing book - it's a shame it's the last in the series, although our characters do make an appearance or 3 in the Scions on Magic series, also by TR Cameron.
Non-stop action throughout this book as it reaches it's climactic conclusion.
Awesome Series! One of the best in the Oriceran Universe. Great characters, plot & hard to put down when you have to get back to life! Diana & her crew are characters you want to know in real life.
