Someone wicked this way comes ...
Henry and Joanne thought – hoped – it was over. That when Delilah was born, malevolent forces hidden around every corner were gone from their lives. In the Witch City, it's never that simple.

"Delilah Is Ours!" A threat, scrawled in blood, drips down their front door. Beneath it hangs the effigy of Wanda Heinze, leader of the League of the Moon coven, left by a mysterious, faceless entity caught on the building's security camera. A puppet whose strings are pulled by someone far worse.

The Red Witch is on the rise. An egomaniac who wants to rival the power of the ancient gods – she's set her sights on Henry and Joanne … and on their baby, Delilah. She knows what hides within the soul of their child, and she'll do anything – or kill anyone – to achieve the power she seeks.

Soon, Henry, Joanne, and Delilah are in the battle of their lives with the hooded entity stalking them, and with the one who wants all power for her own - desperate to protect their new baby, who may hold the key to salvation for all…

… or the destruction of everything Henry and Joanne hold dear.

Wow if you thought book one was brilliant and edge of your seat stuff, this one will knock you clear off that seat. This a rollercoaster ride of a book for Henry and Joanne and also for the reader.

Yes the League of The Moon is back together, along with Henry, Joanne and their new-born daughter Delilah. After arriving home and finding the words "Delilah is Ours" written on their front door in dripping blood along with an effigy of their friend and leader of the League of the Moon, Wanda, with a noose around her neck. They knew their hope of a quiet life with their baby was as far from them as the moon itself.

The Red Witch is back and this time she seems stronger than before , she knows what lies within the soul of Delilah and she wants it and is willing to kill for it, and she doesn't care who gets caught in the crossfire. She wants to take out The League of The Moon and take all the power they possess for herself.

So the fight begins, can Henry and Joanne survive and at the same time protect their precious baby from what is inevitably coming for her. New characters emerge in this book, some of whom will help and other who will do anything other than that.

I swear there were times during reading this book that I didn't breathe for long periods,

Henry and Joanne are back, fresh from the troubles in book 1 (In Your Dreams) but now with a baby in tow.

The Red Witch is out to cause trouble for our intrepid heroes. Will they thwart her plans?

A great follow up to the first book in the series which re-introduces the reader to a few old friends and a few more, not so friendly, antagonists to up the threat level.

The author has done a great job of making the paranormal believable, the characters relatable and the plot fast flowing and entertaining.

Well worth a read

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The storyline was great. The characters worked well together. Descriptions of clothes, the scene playing out, fights etc makes you able to envision in your mind and make you feel like you're there. Heading out to start book 3 now!
