Drowning in Angst

Rate this book
The five elements are at war and Ehrde is their battlefield. The only one who can possibly protect the inhabitants, is a hero bonded to a foci, a weapon of unimaginable power. Unfortunately, the hero is having a little problem.

Bonding with the giant sword saved Angst's life, but didn't make it easier. All of the great power that comes with wielding a foci is now out of control. Angst just wanted to be a hero, a knight of Unsel, but his mid-life crisis has created a trail of destruction, including the death of Water's beloved.
Now, to save Rose, Angst and his friends must cross the ocean where Water is most powerful. But how can he keep them safe when the very sword that makes him a hero doesn't work right?

Drowning in Angst is the third fantasy novel in David J. Pedersen's Angst series. Join Angst and his friends as they continue... A Midlife Crisis in Medieval Times

Loved it! One adventure after another, kept you on your toes and wanting to know what trouble was coming next. Definetly a page turner. Ended with a “Oh No, Angst,Not that!” Can’t wait to see how he fixes his new problem in the next book.

Took me awhile to get into the book, mainly because of forgotten details of the previous books in the series. A little recap would have been nice to pick up where I had left off, but once I did get into the book it did not disappoint.

Angst and his world share a creative form of magics that seems unique and original when put together.

We have war, we have conspiracies , we have puzzles behind puzzles , magic and love.

The last 20 % of the book was intense enough that it was very difficult to put down. And once it did I was again left with a sense of discontent that there is more story out there - and I have to wait again.
That and I will probably forgot where things stands when the next book comes out.
