That said, after I read this book, I went back and read the previous entries in the Bedwyn Saga, which made me love this book (and the Bedwyns) all the more. One of my favorite things about Balogh is that you can pick up pretty much anywhere in whichever of her series you choose and, while you'll miss a lot of references to previous books, you won't feel totally lost. The central romance will sweep you away every single time. That also means you'll get extra enjoyment out of rereading the books in their intended order!(less)

Instead, Balogh seems to take the concept of the characters and work them into a similar scenario, and of the series, this was my absolute favorite.(less)
Lori Sadowski I would describe the steam as mild. There are only a few sexual interactions and none is described in great depth.
