Sarah I think the story could of done without Anne's memory loss illness, I know it was just introducing another maybe scenario but by the time the author…moreI think the story could of done without Anne's memory loss illness, I know it was just introducing another maybe scenario but by the time the author introduced the memory loss issue it was almost clear Marco had orchestrated the whole kidnap. I really think Anne deserved a bit of happiness in the end and I wished Marco could've suffered some fate. (less)

By…moreI don't think the premise is all that unrealistic. They were in adjoined townhouses, and could even hear each other through the walls sometimes. By taking the monitor with them, there wasn't much of a difference between going next door or going outside/to the garage. I wouldn't have chosen to drink in that case, but simply going next door doesn't seem far fetched.(less)

You would think…moreI thought it was weird and unrealistic as I was reading the story. Initially, the police did not go next door to question the couple. You would think they would have immediately after questioning the parents. When Rasbach eventually did go over (might have been 1-2 days later) he only questioned Cynthia as Graham was not home. He never questioned him. That would not happen in real life! Also the cops would have dug into the couples background a little more. Everyone close would be under suspicion.(less)
