Do I have to read Wolf Hall to fully understand Bring Up the Bodies? I already read it but I'm not really sure.
What happens to Thomas Cromwell? This may be a spoiler alert for the third book but Cromwell was beheaded by Henry in 1540. Cromwell convinced Henry to marry Anne of Cleve's as a way to secure north German princes as allies against the Holy Roman Empire. But Henry hated Anne and blamed Cromwell for pushing him into the marriage and by this time Cromwell had made many enemies in court.
