GoodReads taking the next step in going full commercial... let's see how long before we get swamped with GoodReads spam trying to get us to buy "the latest not-to-miss bestseller". :/

Vavita Know your target audience Goodreads! I read the whole thing and there was no mention of not being for international audience. Only after clicking on sign up! You Do know that end users do not like to click an extra time if there is no benefit behind, right? Rule number of Usability!!!!!!

I agree that it's irritating that it's only for people from the US but I does say so above, in the first paragraph. "US customers say..."

Amazon is Goodreads parent company. It has been full commercial for awhile now. Hence the all the Amazon ads on the sides of the pages.
