Craving a wily whodunit or suspenseful story right now? You're in luck, because we have all the clues to lead you to some seriously spectacular mysteries and thrillers coming out in the next few months!

We looked at Want to Read shelves and early reviews from your fellow Goodreads members to determine these picks. Additionally, we removed any books that fell below a 3.5-star average rating from readers who've been lucky enough to get a sneak preview.

Here's what fans can expect: Pulitzer Prize winner Colson Whitehead switches genres to write a historical Harlem heist, Lianne Moriarty dials up the family drama, and a whole handful of highly anticipated debuts will hit shelves. Also keep your eyes peeled for new books by old faves like John Grisham, James Patterson, and more!

Jessica Richard Osman’s. This is the 2nd in a series and I can’t wait. The first one was laugh out loud funny, kinda’ heartbreaking and a fine (if maybe a little obvious) whodunit.

I'll be picking it up because we all need a popcorn thriller every once in a while, but I really don't have high hopes. An average of 3.6 on here from ARC reviews only, which tend to be inflated, doesn't sound very promising.
