TMR So excited for these.

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude VERY pleased to see a KU romance pick on this list for a change. Also a new literary dystopian AND a spec fic I'd not heard about before. It's a win for me.

message 3: by Barbara (new)

Barbara Hughes I might try out "The Jigsaw Man". Sounds like my style. I just finished "Her Dark Lies" by J T Ellison. Fabulous book. Check it out.

Gordon Vanstone "Mona, a Peruvian writer based in California, presents a tough and sardonic exterior. She likes drugs and cigarettes, and when she learns that she's something of an anthropological curiosity herself..." Sold! This sounds awesome.
Also the Memory Collectors looks nice. I like Magical Realism and the synopsis looks like there is a cool MR twist throughout. Plus sounds like it's set in my hometown of Vancouver.

Deity World Currently reading Jigsaw Man loving it

Anna Avian If you liked Daisy Jones & The Six definitely check out The Songbook of Benny Lament. One of the best romance reads with a touch of crime I’ve had lately.

SECONDED. It is a SUPERB romance planted firmly in the music world of the 1960s and crosses into mob territory with all sorts of commentary on the social issues of the time. BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL story.

Krisakarcher Great list. I’ll probably give Body of Stars a shot for sure.
