Heat Up the Holidays with These 27 Winter Romances

Posted by Sharon on November 17, 2020

Are you spending this season bundling up against the chill or enjoying summery southern hemisphere vibes (in which case we are very jealous)? Either way, we're guessing a steamy story or two might be just the ticket for getting you into a holiday state of mind.

Luckily, romance authors are super reliable when it comes to gifting their readers with festive books. (Yep, your eyes aren't deceiving you; that is an entire row of Christmas titles written by authors named Jenny below!)

So whether you're seeking a kiss under the mistletoe, a new flame for Chanukah, a reminder that family reunions can get...complicated, or a snowstorm to get stranded in—with someone cute, of course—try adding one of these 27 new cold-weather romances to your Want to Read shelf!

L. My holiday romance collection spans holidays throughout the year, including (but not only) Christmas. Romancing the Holidays Collection Romancing the Holidays Collection (Romancing the Holidays) by L. Austen Johnson

message 20: by MK (new)

MK Thrilled to see an Erica Ridley here! That book is part of her three year project of stories set in a town where Christmas is celebrated year round. The series is delightful and she has released box sets of the books from the first two years of the project so it's economical to read the whole thing. Each story is short and a lot of fun.

message 21: by MK (new)

MK Also want to mention that the Jackie Lau is part of a holiday series that starts with Thanksgiving, then this Christmas book, and follows up with Chinese New Year and Valentine's. It features a family with a funny grandmother who decides to matchmake her grandchildren. That series is a lot of fun too.

message 22: by MK (new)

MK Just finished the Jenny Holiday book and it's delightful. Dying for the next book in this new series!

kittykat (Jo Tortitude) S. Negrete wrote: "Awesome! I love her books and haven't got my hands into these."

These were my first by Jackie Lau and I really did love them. I hope they live up to the others by her that you've read!

Yep I loved these too much more than I expected to, I mentioned them upthread.

If you don't want to see romance books, perhaps don't choose to read a thread that is specifically about romance books? Just a thought...

Or perhaps look and see if there's any that interest me (there was) and make a request for them to post some that are about other topics... Just a thought.
