May's Hottest Romance Reads

Posted by Sharon on May 1, 2020
Some people love books. Some people fall in love. And some people fall in love with books about falling in love. Every month our team sorts through the new romance books and sees how early readers are responding. We use this information to curate a list of soon-to-be-beloved favorites.

New in May: Two women find unexpected romance in the glare of the Hollywood spotlight. Rival book authors spend a strange summer swapping lives. And a notorious Harlem skirt-chaser meets his match—and learns to knit. Also: A blind date gets serious in a hurry, a villainous duke tries to thwart true love, and veteran scribe Nora Roberts returns with a California fable.

Add what catches your fancy to your Want to Read shelf, and let us know what you're reading and recommending in the comments.

Psychowellnesscenter Romance and betrayal is fun to read

Kate Grand {A Grand Romance} I loved Beach Read. I read it as an Advance Readers Copy. It's *not* "cute". It's about getting over grief, betrayal, writer's block and also involves a side investigation into a suicide cult. It's a GREAT BOOK. It's got beautiful prose, a delicious romance, wonderful characters, real problems, interesting ideas but it is not "cute". I highly recommend it. Beach Read Have a great summer!

Kate Grand {A Grand Romance} And Beautifully Cruel by J.T. Geissinger blew me away. I have not yet recovered. It's so amazing. If I was Oprah I would throw you all a copy.
