Kadrina I considered getting Sundown Motel via BOTM but got a different book. I might have to try it anyway!

I was excited about it, but couldn't get past how pedestrian the prose is. I only made it about 50 pages before giving up and returning it. If you're looking for something weird and creepy, I suggest checking out Andy Davidson's "The Boatman's Daughter" instead.
