June's Hottest New Releases

Posted by Cybil on May 31, 2019
This month the author of Eat, Pray, Love brings us a show-stopping 1940s romp, Dark Matter's Blake Crouch offers more mind-melting sci-fi thrills, and a new mystery combines the magic of Hogwarts with gumshoe noir.

Each month the Goodreads Editorial team takes a look at the books that are being published in the U.S., how early reviewers are rating them, and how many readers are adding these books to their Want to Read shelves (which is how we measure anticipation). We use the information to curate this list of hottest new releases.

Which new book will you be checking out this month? Tell us in the comments!

Valarie Campbell The Beautiful No by Sheri Salata. Sheri has such a great, relatable story that will make you laugh and also cry-in a good way! It’s such an easy read. I couldn’t put this down and finished it in one sitting! It contains some great nuggets and reminders that it is so important to tend to our own garden and it’s never too late to create the life of your dreams. Highly recommend this!

message 11: by Sue (new)

Sue Campbell Furious Hours is a can't put down. WOW! It works on so many levels, not the least of which is the obvious intelligence and command of the English language that Casey Cep so clearly possesses. So much depth and so well researched. In a recent world of somewhat mediocre titles, this one is a breath of fresh air. Elizabeth Gilbert next!

June 4th!

message 13: by MARK (new)

MARK RUBENSTEIN As a long time and loyal Todd Borg fan, I can say with absolute assurance that Tahoe Deep, the 17th in this series, is every bit as good or better than any of the pervious 16, all of which I've read. It is, of course, fun to greet characters which have appeared in his previous novels, but Mr. Borg has once again introduced new characters who are every bit as engaging as the familiar ones. As usual, the plot is well framed and paced to maintain one's interest throughout. Now, I just have to wait for number 18.
