Suzanne The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary is so good! Currently reading it and I'm flying through the pages. Extremely easy to read and a real feel good!

robyn I usually don't comment on DEI issues generally, but I was struck by the covers of these books. As much as talk as increased regarding diversity in publishing, these covers don't reflect it. Just think how much more open Sterling's and Chiaverini's books could be with a non-racial cover. The imagination reels . . . which it's supposed to. Thanks to Suzanne - look at the cover of her The Flat Share versus the Goodreads one. Interesting, no?

message 4: by Nitya (new)

Nitya These Witches Don’t Burn and The Flatshare look wonderful!

As for the covers, seeing a brown face instead of white is both refreshing and important. Representation DOES matter, idk what the hell other comments are complaining about.

message 5: by Kate (new)

Kate For those who have read this apparent sequel (The Last King of Orsten Ard) to Tad William's Memory, Sorrow and Thorn trilogy, do you think it important to have read MS&T prior to this new series, or can they stand alone? It's been some time since I read MS&T, and while it ranks as an absolute fave, it's a considerable task to reread, especially since my current to-read list is over 200 books.
Thanks!
