I totally agree. I don’t trust the ratings on Goodreads for this reason. Often when I look at the description of a new book coming out and see this it makes me frustrated

This is a place for people with ARCs to rate the book. But I agree it's tempting for anyone to just skew the rating.

People often get ARC's that publishers ask them to review before the publication date to drum up publicity.

But what and where should the early readers who receive ARC (Advance Reader Copies) review the books?

yes please! remove that option. it doesnt make any sense to have it there??

It does though! Ther are lots of book reviewers who receive advanced reading copies and THEY WILL RATE and REVIEW the book prior to publication.

but in that case wouldnt it be possible to give these people some kind of code they can use to post their review? cause as it is now, many people who -have not- received an early copy still rate the book..

I agree that should be the way it is BUT Goodreads is basically a volunteer run platform, so that is easier said than done.

Just let me know when thats published and I'll be a happy women !!

Yes please!

You and me both! Great minds think alike.

Good question! SEP's romances are worth waiting for.

Helen Hoang's next book, The Bride Test.
The library hasn't gotten me 99 Percent Mine yet.

Hey Shan! Soon. But not soon enough.

Also, always waiting for more romance books by Italian Author Anna Premoli !!

Agreed--Alyssa Cole has the final book for both her Reluctant Royals and Loyal League series coming out this year, so I was surprised not to see either of them here!
