The 36 Big Mysteries & Thrillers of 2019

Posted by Cybil on January 2, 2019

A new year means new thrills and chills for mystery and thriller lovers. And in 2019 there are plenty of exciting new releases to keep you turning the pages.

To create our list of the year's must-read mysteries and thrillers, we focused on what Goodreads members can't wait to read. How do we measure that anticipation? By taking a look at how many times a book has been added to Want to Read shelves.

We'll also be keeping a lookout for those elusive upcoming releases, including the announced new standalone novel from The Silence of the Lambs author Thomas Harris, which will arrive in book stores in May.

Which of these upcoming releases are making their way onto your Want to Read shelf? Share them with us in the comments!

message 8: by Anissa (new)

Anissa I read galleys of The Au Pair & The Hunting Party last year & quite enjoyed & recommend them! I had some of these on my list & have added a couple more. I look forward to Paula Hawkins newest but I felt her last was a bit of a letdown. I've no more time to expend on Ruth Ware's novels as I've found them middling & disappointing, so no TBR danger there.

message 9: by Dolores (new)
