Inge Am I the only one who is completely frustrated by the fact that yet another Song of Ice and Fire prequal/history/spin-off is published, written by George R.R. Martin himself, while I am increasingly less patiently waiting for the sixth part of the actual series?! My biggest fear is that either he or I will die of old age before The Winds of Winter comes out...

message 5: by Sven (new)

Sven I want to read fire and blood. I have all the books of the song of ice and fire unread on my bookshelves. Maybe its time i start reading them. Maybe i can read fire and blood before i read the serie.
But i'm gone wait till the new book is released in dutch because the rest of the serie is also in dutch.

How about you stop being so self centered and selfish that you're more worried about the next book you can read than you are about the actual health of the author.

the man has a life. He doesnt live by your schedule. Sit down somewhere and wait until the book comes out. he doesnt owe you anything.

If you dont like it, stop reading his books. move on to something else.

The entitlement some of you arseholes display is astounding.

message 14: by David (new)

David Patneaude Looking for some smart suspense/mystery reads for my brother. Would like something slightly outside of the NY Times lists cornucopia, as he's a big reader and picks up the mainstream stuff as soon as it comes out.
