A successful book club pick must accomplish many things. For starters, it has to be a great read that the busy people in your club will make time to devour. It must also prompt a compelling and passionate conversation. It's no wonder that picking your book club's next book can feel like so much pressure. But don't worry, we've done all of the research for you.

In fact, after we looked at the current most popular book club picks on the site, we got even more curious. We wanted to know which books are the all-time most popular book club picks on the Goodreads? We dug into our data to find this list of classics for your next meeting of bookworms, from the most popular pick, The Book Thief, to Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail, there's a book here to please even the most demanding readers.

The Chilbury Ladies Choir was good, I listened to the eARC. Not read The Kitchen House.

Alexander Foxleigh The entire chronicles of st Mary's should be on this list. As it's not, I'll recommend it. The first book is 'Just one damn thing after another'.

Michele  Stewart OMG what an awesome list, have already read some of them, but will definitely check out the others, Have you checked out the new show on PBS "The Great American Read 2018" It's amazing & the top list of 100 books is fantastic. Everyone should check it out.

I don’t think everyone has to check out Twilight or 50 Shades of Garbage. 😂

The Kitchen House is amazing!!!! I was so sad when I finished that book. I wanted the story to keep going....

Katerina The night circus which I'm currently re-reading amazing choice as are The book thief, The light between oceans, To kill a mockingbird, All the light we cannot see and Me before you are also books I've read and loved very much and have a special place in my heart!

There is a second book called Glory Over Everything that was also very good and continues the story of the Kitchen House

Halie I've already read 19 of these books (some of which are even on my "favorites" shelf), and I have 3 of the others on my TBR list. I feel very accomplished at this point, or at least like I'm on the right track :)
