Alphas Like Us by Krista and Becca Ritchie is an M/M romance! The first two books in the series (about the same M/M couple) is already out :)

River Lulu wrote: "Denise wrote: "Really? Not a single non-M/F book on the list? Disappointing."

I really wish there were more but Alphas Like Us is MM Romance. Still, the list is lacking.

message 12: by Astra (new)

Astra Astrid Any list that doesn't include Mary Balogh is completely incomplete!

message 13: by Lanie (new)

Lanie ALPHAS LIKE US!!! This series is so good and I hate that this is the last MARROW (Maximoff & Farrow) book. one of the best MM romance I've read!!!

message 14: by Sara (new)

Sara Naveed None has attracted me so far.

message 15: by MK (new)

MK The one I'm awaiting is Courtney Milan's After the Wedding.

Denise Anna Banana wrote: "Alphas Like Us by Krista and Becca Ritchie is an M/M romance! The first two books in the series (about the same M/M couple) is already out :) "

Thanks for the tip! :)
I revise my statement to: Only one non-M/F book on the list? Still disappointing...

And how come there's never ever ever any F/F romance to be found on any of these lists? They do exist, y'know.

message 17: by MK (new)

MK Also forgot to mention Jaci Burton's Shot on Gold.

message 18: by Dana Al-Basha (new)

Dana Al-Basha دانة الباشا I love Lisa Kleypas and Julia Quinn!

message 19: by Priscilla (new)

Priscilla Mary Balogh's Someone to Care.
Emily March the First Kiss Of Spring
Anne Gracie has a new book out in 2018 also.

Not sure who makes up these lists but these three authors should definitely be on it in my opinion.

message 20: by Lu (new)

Lu Mary Balogh’s Someone to Care should definitively be on the list.

message 21: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Beck There are so MANY great romance authors out there. Why do we always see the same names over and over? I'm not saying that these authors don't write great books, but there are literally hundreds of other great books coming out. It'd be nice to see some variety once in a while. How about Virginia Kantra, Liz Talley, Sonali Dev, Regina Kyle, Hope Ramsay, Gail Chianese, Donna Kaufmann, Megan Ryder, Priscilla Oliveras, Katy Lee, Jamie K. Schmidt, Jeannie Moon, Jen Gracen, Sally Kilpatrick, K.M. Jackson, Falguni Kothari, Barbara O'Neal, Sara Richardson, Jamie Pope, and so many more...

I noticed that too. Unfortunately I have never heard of any of the authors you listed. If you had to recommend one of them who would you pick? I’m looking to find some new to me authors from different readers.

message 23: by Martha (new)

Martha B I am reading Someone to Care in Advance Copy now, and it is wonderful.

Priscilla Martha wrote: "I am reading Someone to Care in Advance Copy now, and it is wonderful."

How did you get an advanced copy? Did you win it from Mary Balogh? I am jealous!

Virginia Kantra has a series about a family living on the Outer Banks of NC. Each book is about one of the adult children. I re-read these and highly recommend

message 26: by Mommy’s Book (new)

Mommy’s Book Escape Thank you. I’ll check it out.

message 27: by Patricia (new)

Patricia Bond Chris wrote: "What happened to the inspirational/Christian romances? Lots in there looking forward to!!"
I agree with you Chris Where are the Inspirational/Christian romances there are quite a few new ones coming out

message 28: by Liese (new)

Liese I agree the straight emphasis here is disappointing. Alexis Hall, Santino Hassell, Roan Parrish, Megan Erickson, Avon Gale, Piper Vaughn, Austin Chant and more have much anticipated queer books coming out...

message 29: by Michi Shell (new)

Michi Shell Akers So waiting for ALPHAS LIKE US. Been very impatient about it. Anything Blackdagger Brotherhood, Ghostwalkers, Carpathians, Games, Breeds or Mercy Thompson are anticipated books for me.

I just bought the first one - thanks for the recommendation! Can't wait to read it. (I live in NC, and love when books are set here)

message 31: by Barb (new)

Barb Eck I have enjoyed the books on your site very much. I would like to see more Christian romances on your site.

Thank you for your interesting reading suggestions.

Barb

I also agree. None on these lists would be on my radar. At the moment, my favorite genre is (clean) historical romances, like Tamera Alexander, Sarah Sundin, Cindy Woodsmall, Tracie Peterson, many others.

message 33: by Barb (new)

Barb Eck I agree with all of you. I prefer to read the clean historical romances.

message 34: by Gwen (new)

Gwen I've read some of these authors and will enjoy some of these books, I'm sure. But, where are the Interracial Romances? Y'all must be living under a rock if you think there isn't a market for these kind of romances. Lots of us read them and I'm sure we'd like you to address this issue and keep us informed about them as well.

message 35: by Christina (new)

Christina Vandenhurk What about the queen Kristen Ashley?!?!

message 36: by Pj (new)

Pj Ausdenmore Josephine wrote: "Is no one else anticipating A Princess in Theory?"

I am!

message 37: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer I wonder if the list is compiled based on books added to our “Want to Read” list. It says “Most Anticipated” so maybe this list is based on the books added to the most member lists.

message 38: by Elation (new)

Elation Auryn Hadley, Anna McIlwraith, May Sage

message 39: by Lesley (new)

Lesley This list lost credibility with the inclusion of Highland Ever After. We’ve been waiting for that book for years, but Maya Banks’ website doesn’t even talk about it anymore. She has abandoned the series. For historical - be excited about Sabrina Jeffries’ The Secret of Flirting!

message 40: by Josephine (new)

Josephine (biblioseph) @Jennifer, that's exactly it. The lack of inspirational, queer and interracial/black romance makes it clear this is based on market popularity. Oh well!

message 41: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Josephine wrote: "@Jennifer, that's exactly it. The lack of inspirational, queer and interracial/black romance makes it clear this is based on market popularity. Oh well!"

I’m SO random in what I read. I’ll read the book you mentioned because I LOVE the dress on the cover. I don’t care much about what is popular, but I figured the list was based on the books added by the most people. I always like to look in case I see something that looks good.

But I find the best lists are those started by members and other members can add books to it. Want to see more F/F (or Christian, Interracial, etc.) romance lists? Just start a list, add your favorites and let other members add their suggestions. Great way to share your favorite books in your favorite genre and see what others are reading as well.

message 42: by Jane (new)

Jane Hengtgen Check out Tamara Morgan, not only a sweet romance writer, but she get's me laughing out loud. Not overboard but good...

message 43: by Barbara (new)

Barbara McDougle Angelica wrote: "Aren't there any gay romance books coming out?" I hope NOT!

message 44: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Looks like Karen Rose was overlooked. Her new on Edge of Darkness is coming out. Monster in the closet was pretty tame this one should be good

message 45: by Jessica (new)

Jessica A few more historicals: Once a Scoundrel by Mary Jo Putney, Wicked and the Wallflower by Sarah Maclean, The Secret of Flirting by Sabrina Jeffries, Too Wilde to Wed by Eloisa James and another paranormal: Shadow's Kiss by Kresley Cole

message 46: by EMILY (new)

EMILY I love this site. Wish I could find a way to actually read the books instead of just choosing what I want. I know I will eventually. Thanks.

Jaclyn Woods EMILY wrote: "I love this site. Wish I could find a way to actually read the books instead of just choosing what I want. I know I will eventually. Thanks."

Hi Emily! Goodreads is primarily a book review and recommendations site, so the books you see aren't actually available to read. We do, however, have a small selection of readable ebooks. If a book is readable, you'll see a green "Read Book" link below the cover image. Just click on that to start reading. You can also find a list of all the free readable ebooks/ebook samples on the website by navigating here.

I agree. The representation on this list is really lacking. They are basically all hetero books. And yeah, why is it when they include an LGB book they only include an m/m book and never an f/f/? I love ALL kinds of romance books and want to see all kinds of relationships represented.
