Евентуално интересното в книгата, преживяванията и сънищата под въздействие на опиума, заема не повече от 1/10 обема й, разказано небрежно и някак между другото. Останалото е зле написана, прекалено обстоятелствена и по английски скучна автобиография на някакъв ръб, който не знае какво да прави с живота си. Четенето й е абсолютна загуба на време, на светлинни години е от "Дверите на възприятието".
