Religious displays and invocations have no place in the federal government

In a recent piece on this very blog, Thomas Essel makes the case that religious displays on public land and innovations (which are often religious prayers) have every right to exist and that atheists are wrong to oppose them. I want to focus on this specific comment from this article.
