I guess I always was now I'm just also publishing. I hate how people don't know the difference. Why do you write? For money What made you decide to sit down and actually start something? Because guys were always throwing me their cash or always getting me little things. I turned it into a business. Do you write full-time or part-time? Full timeDo you have a special time to write or how is your day structured? In the morning with coffee, but sometimes I take a whole day and just crank on it. Do you write every day, 5 days a week or as and when? Most days I'm writing something no matter how small. Do you aim for a set amount of words/pages per day? Nah, I get distracted by client and sex with my husband. So it's write until something else. Do you write on a typewriter, computer, dictate or longhand? LaptopWhere do the your ideas come from? Smoking weedHow long on average does it take you to write a book? I write two a month, but some are just picture books. Do you ever get writer’s Block? The Brave New World of Work by Ulrich BeckDo you proofread/edit all your own books or do you get someone to do that for you? My husband will look over them, but I don't really edit and that keeps my cost low. Do you let the book stew – leave it for a month and then come back to it to edit? Only with books that I don't have enough research for. I want to do a line on making my husband a MTF Transperson, but we haven't gotten that far yet. Me and my husbandDo you think that the cover plays an important part in the buying process? Yes and no. If you're topic is very specific then the audience already knows this could be the only book. How are you publishing this book and why?Amazon, because traditional publishing is dead. (*e.g. Indie, traditional or both) Kindle is the only way to go. What would you say are the main advantages and disadvantages of self-publishing against being published or the other way around? Publishers are great if you want a job, but if you just want to write then self publishing is the way to go. I already have a job so I don't need some publisher telling me what to do. None, I use that time for writing. What do you do to get book reviews?Amazon is great because people are already trained to give reviews. Same for Goodreads. The problem is that troll assholes are everywhere. How successful has your quest for reviews been so far? Since I haven't tried at all it has been great!Do you have a strategy for finding reviewers?
