So naturally, all of these things are staples in my newest novel, Without You. Henry is Jenna and Camden’s mastiff, and Bob is Violet’s cupcake-loving, eighteen-pound cat.

Is there deep, symbolic meaning in their presence?

No.

I just adore my pets and wanted to immortalize them in my literature.
