Thank you for this post. It is fascinating. I sent it to my mom with whom I read and discussed my first grownup book with - Burr by Gore Vidal. She was impressed by your research and logic too and typed "those politicians were no better and probably no worse than the bunch we have now."

I remember the book was on the shelf growing up and I loved the title font, heh. I'm glad you and your mom enjoyed the post. Your mom sounds like a wise woman. :)
