CynnieRose Thank you for this post. It is fascinating. I sent it to my mom with whom I read and discussed my first grownup book with - Burr by Gore Vidal. She was impressed by your research and logic too and typed "those politicians were no better and probably no worse than the bunch we have now."

Aw, thank you! I haven't read the Vidal book but my dad loves him! I remember the book was on the shelf growing up and I loved the title font, heh. I'm glad you and your mom enjoyed the post. Your mom sounds like a wise woman. :)
