October is the perfect time for watching spooky movies. Along with the Halloween Movie Marathon each of our participating shops, and many of our blog sponsors, will be sharing some of their favorite movie choices with you.

 So I'm not a great fan of spooky or scary or horror movies or TV shows. I mean Big Bang Theory is my favourite TV show.  My daughter on the other hand is a devout Walking Dead fan. But we have a Halloween tradition that's been going on for a long time - we sit down an watch Spaced Invaders. If you haven't seen it - I highly recommend it. It's dumb fun.  It's a take off on the War of the Worlds theme.  We've seen it so often we use quotes from it -
- Hey! They're over at the co-op!
- They blew up our new off ramp!

 So after the trick or treaters are gone - grab the remaining candy and a diet pop - and settle down to watch the funniest the little Halloween movie.
