How did you start writing?
I’ve always been very creative and had a good imagination, making up stories as a kid, but I really only sat down and put my hand to writing a book about 5 years ago. I’m always coming up with these great story ideas and I jot them down (well now I add them to an ‘Ideas’ file on my computer), but I had never done more than that. Then, one day I came up with an idea for a contemporary romance – the whole opening scene in fact – and after getting my ideas down on paper I thought to myself what’s the point? I never do anything with them. So, I decided to change that. I started writing, developing that new idea into a story and the next thing I knew I had the first three chapters written.
