I couldn't run one half marathon or even just a 5km. I tried running 1km and couldn't finish. You're still an inspiration to me.

I enjoy running, but have never ventured farther than a 5km. I've been debating a half marathon since reading Dark Confessions. Any advice?
Go for it Liz!! Find a half marathon in the Spring that looks like fun and start training. There is an incredible feeling of accomplishment that comes with setting a tough goal and achieving it. I love the rush you get when you cross the finish line and truly wish my body wasn't ready to retire. It's an experience I would recommend to anyone who enjoys running. For your first event, remember you are only racing yourself. The time you finish in doesn't matter, as long as you finish! Please let me know if you decided to do it. Good luck!!
