Interview with author, Lori Whyte!
Today I have the pleasure of interviewing Lori Whyte, author of the awesome His BBW to Hold, and Masquerade series, A Werewolf’s Curse series, and a brand new Mannix Dragon Shifters series. Of course, if you know me at all, you’ll know that my heart just started racing a little bit at the mention of a new dragon shifter series.

Welcome to PNR Lovers, Lori!
Please tell our readers a little bit about yourself.
First, thank you so much for interviewing me today, Elianne! I’m excited to be here. Hmm… Where to start? I am a design consultant in my day job, which can be pretty hectic at times, so every opportunity to write is a blessing. I live in Alberta, Canada and I love it here. Although I don’t always say it, the Rocky Mountains and Calgary, a vibrant prairie city, both play a huge role in my stories. My very own alpha hero is Scottish, but don’t ask me to try out my Scottish accent. I suck at it. Apparently, if my life depended on me saying Edinburgh properly I would be doomed. I also have two cats. One adores me. The other… not so much (I suspect she is a familiar in disguise).
Have you always wanted to be a writer? How long have you been writing?
Absolutely! I can remember writing stories when I was a little girl and making my family listen to them. LOL. At some point in my teens, I was going to the local library to do research for a novel I wanted to write (it never got very far). I wrote my first novel-length story in 2000 and have been actively writing stories ever since. I think I have at least eight unpublished novels and countless half-finished projects lingering in the recesses of my computer. I figure those were where I learned how to craft a story. I published my first novel in 2013 (under an alter ego) and have been addicted to sharing my stories with others ever since. I can’t imagine not writing.
We know you write Paranormal romance. Do you now, or have you ever written any other genres? If so, which? What makes PNR different than other genres?
For the last year, I’ve focused on writing sexy contemporary shorts and paranormal romances, but I didn’t start there. My alter ego also has a few contemporary romance novels.
