No, it's not a duck. It's a goose. Why do so many people get that wrong?

And okay, I might admit that it's a bit of a sore point for me.
From the moment I was old enough to understand that goose-egg farmer wasn't my only choice, I've been planning my escape from this tiny town. Why wouldn't I leave? This place has zero career opportunities outside of following my father's footsteps into the family business. I never wanted it, and my future was supposed to be the way I'd always dreamed. Yeah, I know it's vague. I mean, I'm twenty-six, well past the age most kids leave town and go to college, but I've been working toward my fantastically unclear goals, saving every penny—okay, some pennies—and figuring I'd know exactly when the time was right.
