What Are the “Rules” in Your Neighborhood?

Some of my freighbors (neighbors who are also friends)—two of the sweetest and hardest working people I know—received an anonymous letter from another neighbor (just a person who lives by me—clearly not my friend) complaining that they left some toys out in front of their house. The note upset my freighbors and me.

So what did I do? Well, besides send my freighbors love notes, I wrote a satirical piece about suburban life called 12 Rules for Living in Suburbia. Please read it on The Mid and let me know what other ridiculousness we can include on the list.
