How best can I describe seeing my books in print?

Cherry snow cone at the county fair? Summer twilight with the whole hot night ahead? A walk by the ocean? A good meal with sprinkles? Definitely sprinkles!

I write because I write. If I were on a lonely desert island with no one for a million miles, I would still write. The words that roll out onto the screen, forming images and ideas, are my pleasure, but there is also gratification in seeing the books, their blue covers shiny and clean, ready to share with the world.
