My grandmother used to take me to see “The Nutcracker,” when I was a little girl. Carrying this tradition on with my daughter has provided the bonding material for our relationship.
For the past six years, my dear friend and her daughter have joined us in creating this holiday tradition. It has become an anticipated date for all of us. Buying surprise matching dresses for our girls, going out to eat and then attending “The Nutcracker.” This year we enjoyed Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece at the beautiful Covey Center for the Arts, in downtown Provo.
