They're not exactly "House of 1000 Corpses", but the first movie I remember my parents (well, Mom's idea) letting me watch was "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things". Still a personal favorite!

We (my sister and I) loved it! It was Halloween year round! (And we're all voracious readers, which is nice)
