David Clive Price: Patricia Highsmith for your mix of psychological suspense, great settings and high literary craft, I like Robert Harris for his combination of historical accuracy, thriller stories and high political drama in ancient times. I also like Jonathan Franzen for his rich portraits of contemporary American life and big themes.
