Playing the Balancing-It-All Game & cover reveal for BECAUSE YOU EXIST by Tiffany Truitt
Hey everyone! Happy Monday and start of November. It's going to be a good month! I mean, there's plenty of pumpkin pie in this month, so what's not to love? :) And don't forget, there's some good stuff still up for grabs on my release day giveaway, so swing by and enter if you have a sec. And of course, An Absence of Light is on sale (hint, hint!).
And my blog tour kicks off today! Fun times! I've got a really awesome character interview going on here, and am sending massive thanks to Erin Rhew, Melissa Petresock, and Kelly Hashaway for their shout-out's today! Each has options to win, so check it out :)
So, yeah, today's post is going to be short, because let's be honest here: I've got WAY too much on my plate. I feel like it's Thanksgiving already and I've got so many awesome dishes passing me by and I just can't help myself when it comes to taking just a little bit more. But then my plate looks a little like a small mountain of food, haha! You all know what I'm taking about (right?). The trouble is everything that's going on is so awesome and it's been a blast, but wow, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed at times.
Between, revising a novel that I seriously want to spend all my time on (I'm in love with it, plain and simple), teaching a overly large course load (thanks, University of Montana, for paying me less than minimum wage to teach more than anyone else in my department--way to make a girl feel special), marketing, and job interviews, let alone the regular other stuff I do (run the writing group for the library, manage my grad students, force myself to get to the gym so I don't go officially crazy, and spend time with that husband person), I'm really, really looking forward to Thanksgiving break. Anyhow, one of these days I'll figure out how to manage it all--or just take a healthier portion size! Still, it's been fun overindulging in the goodness lately--I certainly can't complain about that!
How about you: ever felt like your plate is overly full? :)
And how about a really beautiful cover to round out this post? Tiffany Truitt's new book looks awesome!! Preorder: Amazon: Limitless Publishing
Life is good for LOGAN MIDDLETON.
He’s quarterback of the Shepherd High football team, nephew of the town’s most successful lawyer, and boyfriend of Jenna Maples, a girl who has finally agreed to take their relationship to the next level. But nothing good lasts forever.
With only a few minutes of last period English left between him and a weekend alone with Jenna, Logan blacks out. When he awakens, he finds himself in a future where Shepherd High lies in ruins, nothing is what it seems, and everyone he loves is dead.
Logan is a shifter. Chosen to travel through time, it’s up to him to figure out how to stop the terrible events that claimed his once perfect life. Of course, all of this might be easier if he wasn’t paired with the one girl who’d rather see him dead than help him, JOSEPHINE.
A girl he tormented during childhood. Strong-willed with biting wit, who lives in the shadows. Tough and dark, Jo is Shepherd High’s most notorious outcast and Logan’s opposite in every way.
Together the two must overcome their many differences to figure out why they’ve been selected for such an overwhelming task, and who selected them in the first place.
Before it’s too late…
