Zainab Akhtar interviewed the amazing Ines Estrada at Comics & Cola. As she mentions in the interview, Ines is working on a book for Breakdown Press! As Ines says, it’s “about different people living in a building and how their intimate spaces are intertwined with this communal space that they all share. It is mostly inspired by my experiences from being in this building I live in right now, which was built in Mexico City in the ’50s, and has around 40 different one-room apartments, many of which are shared by families.” The book should be ready for CAB this November.
