CREAMY CRACK OR NO? TO RELAX OR NOT TO RELAX? MY NATURAL PREDICAMENT

I've been rocking back and forth lately between being natural or going back to perming my hair. I love my natural hair, but it does take a lot of time and maintenance. When I wear a TWA it's easy to get up and go with minimal maintenance. However, I have noticed that I was having a lot of moisture problems when I wore my hair the way that I was. So I began trying out new hairstyles and then reverted back to my old hairstyle of twist outs. But anyone who's worn the twist outs know that they take quite a while. As a mother, wife, author, FT worker, and so much more, time is not on my side. So I have to find something that takes minimal time and effort.

Day one of the twist out when my hair was in my face, my forehead instantly broke out. I had not had this problem in a long time. The last time that I recall it being an issue was when I first began wearing twist-outs. I have also been admiring a lady's hair at church. She wears sister locs. They appear to be twists and they are so gorgeous, with so much shine and body. That style will allow me to wear my hair in a low daily maintenance style for an extended length of time, and remain natural.

I also miss my braids; micros or kinky twists. I'm torn. As of the writing of this post, I have my hair in a twist out. I plan to do a major style change one way or the other in the coming weeks.

Are you natural or relaxed? What's your go-to style for easy maintenance and limited time? What's your style challenge?
