Boundaries + Comfort Zones

I saw an ad for a new TV show the other day. Provocative. Modern. Sexy. Maybe even taboo. Definitely taboo. I had the usual physical and mental response I always do regarding something like that. Butterflies in my belly and a mental reminder to ‘Not watch that show’ and to look away or quickly change the channel when that ad comes on.

I knew right away that I’ll never watch it. It’s a threat to my comfort zone. To the mental list I have in my head of things that violate my safety buffer.
