Whoa...still reeling from my trip to Portland and all the excitement that went along with it, but here are a few key highlights.

Of course, meeting so many people and attending readings and panels was amazing. There are far too many to name, but it was beyond cool to be around the likes of people such as William F. Nolan, Rose Blackthorn, Stephanie Wytovich, Michael Arnzen, Jack Ketchum, Aaron Sterns, Daniel Knauf, B.E. Scully, Carl Moore, Ross Lockhart, Sally Bosco, Michael Bailey, Jeff Burk, Dr. Alex Scully, Armand Rosamilia, Wrath James White, Usman Malik, Patrick Freivald, Rena Mason, JG Faherty, Erinn Kemper, Eric Guignard, Joe McKinney, and so many more...seriously, I could go on!

Before I left, I wrote a quick post about how nervous and humbled I was to be scheduled to read from Firbolg Publishing's anthology after Norman Partridge: http://thespiderbox.shawnaleighbernar...

Gregory L. Norris, a writer and editor I greatly admire, also blogged about the collection and was kind enough to include the inspirations behind our pieces: http://gregorylnorris.blogspot.com/

I have so much to share about my upcoming projects both with Villipede Publications and on my own, but the highlight of the trip was definitely launching ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK: THE END IS THE BEGINNING, and sharing pages with legends both living and dead: http://www.firbolgpublishing.com/ente...

Available in Kindle and paperback, this is a collection I am truly proud and grateful to be a part of, and one I can highly recommend without any reservations.

Thanks for reading!

Sally Bosco Great post, Syney! It was great meeting you in Portland, and yes it was an awesome con. We loved the city, too, with its great coffee and light rail. Sally Bosco
