Caffeine and Nicotine
OUCH ! Has your caffeine consumption passed the point of being an occasional treat and turned into a “MUST HAVE IT” kind of thing? While it’s still more socially acceptable than nicotine, caffeine is also a drug and it’s not without it’s own harmful effects on your health.
Don’t be afraid to learn more about caffeine and nicotine. The benefits of just cutting back will show in your health and in your wallet.
With a cup of coffee costing between $1.00 and $2.00 (and we’re not even talking about lattes, Americanos, whipped, foam, non-foam, mocha, or any of the specialty drinks that could have you dropping a five dollar bill) we think there are better ways, healthier, natural, less expensive ways to find your energy.
The flip side of caffeine to get you going is a cigarette to “soothe” you. Besides the obvious damage to your health, risk of emphysema, heart disease and cancer, there’s the smell, the aging factor and the fact that a pack of cigarettes can cost upwards of $5.00 and as much as $10.00 depending on where you live.
