manage to go to sleep

whenever their body

to hold down their secrets

like they do their liquor.

Because both make me

feel as if I am poisoned.

I will always be envious

of those who are able

to lose love and take

nothing but rewarding

experiences

from it all.

I will always be envious

of those who are able

to speak of the truth

without feeling as if

there is a noose around

their neck.

But most of all I will always

be envious of those who are

able to feel the way you love

inside of their own heart.
