Rant!

Ok, apologies for my rant but can’t help myself!  So had a cold a couple of weeks ago and was feeling much better, albeit the cough was still lingering. Day before yesterday felt bad again and yesterday was worse! Last night! Jeez, worst night in a long while. Couldn’t breathe, coughed galore and generally felt awful.

Now guys, Man can go to the moon – yup. Man can cure cancer (maybe not all but a lot) – yup. So how come there’s no cure for the common cold?! Why can’t all those boffins come up with a cure? Or even medicines that actually work?!

Now this is where my brain gets weird. Is it a conspiracy? I mean, if there was one cure for the common cold how many businesses would go out of business. The ones that sell you all these weird and wonderful solutions? The ones we all spend millions if not billions of dosh on? If there WAS a cure they would go bust, zap, bang, straight away, wouldn’t they? Yea they would, billions in revenue lost, jobs lost, etc etc. So is THAT why the boffins don’t have a cure. Or do they and it’s not been released?

As I sit with sore head, throat, sinsuses so gunged up it hurts I have to wonder.
